Requirements for Vacation and Traveling in Bali during Pandemic

Indonesian citizens and foreigners have been allowed to re-enter Bali despite the pandemic. Previously, there were many restrictions on people from outside the region entering Bali, except for the Bali vaccination requirements COVID, which means that tourists need to be vaccinated prior to their arrival.

The requirements were certainly more stringent, especially for foreigners who came from abroad to enter Bali. But now, Indonesian citizens and foreigners can travel to Bali again with certain conditions.

Latest Terms to Enter Bali Island

Starting April 2022, several things are required for tourists who will enter the island of Bali, these are the requirements:

  • Visitors must have taken the third vaccine or booster vaccine. Visitors do not have to attach a negative Rapid Test or RT-PC test result every time they travel to Bali. You only need to secure a vaccine certificate.

  • Visitors taking the second dose of vaccine and not receiving a booster vaccine must attach a 1×24 hour antigen test or bring 3×24 RT-PCR before departing their flight to Bali.

  • Visitors who have just taken the first dose of the vaccine must attach a vaccine certificate, and RT-PCR results up to 3 x 24 hours before the flight.

  • Visitors who have not been vaccinated due to particular health conditions must attach the results of the RT-PCR test for a maximum of 3 x 24 hours or get a certificate from a doctor stating that the visitor has not been vaccinated.

  • Children under 6 years old and traveling are required to strictly adhere to health protocols.

  • Covid negative test results must be published by the Health Service Facility in the Decree of the Minister of Health. They must have been uploaded into the eHAC system, which is integrated directly into the PeduliLindungi application.

Other requirements that must be met by foreigners are:

  • Download the PeduliLindungi application and fill in the Indonesian e-HAC.

  • Show a second dose of vaccine card at least 2 weeks before departure and verify on the Indonesian Ministry of Health website and Indonesian International e-HAC.

  • Shows a negative PCR test result where the sample is taken within 2 x 24 hours before departure and is attached when carrying out a health check.

  • Undergo a body temperature check and RT-PCR examination upon arrival at the arrival of the PPLN (Tourists who enter Indonesia) entry point.

If at the PPLN entry point the foreign visitor has passed the test with a negative result, then the visitor is allowed to travel to Bali. This is the best time to travel to Bali, which is suitable for foreigners.

But remember, Indonesian citizens and foreigners must still apply strict health protocols in carrying out these tours. It is still essential to carry out this health protocol to ensure that there is no virus transmission from these Indonesian citizens or foreigners.

The requirements for a vacation in Bali for Indonesian citizens and foreigners must be met by everyone who will visit, travel or leisure on the island of Bali
