Sparkling white teeth on your wedding day

nhttrOn your big day, you want to be all smiles for the camera. The last thing others want to see is your teeth to look yellowy and stained.  (Yuck!) Whether you are an avid tea or coffee drinker or you just skip out on flossing every day, take some steps to prep your teeth and get them dazzling white for your wedding day. Some at home remedies can easily fine tune the shade of your teeth without using harsh laser rays at the dentist’s office.

Malic Acid

Discoloration is a major problem amongst tea and coffee drinkers. Malic Acid is key in removing any stains. Using just 2 ingredients, strawberries and baking soda produces malic acid. Crush one strawberry with ½ teaspoon of baking soda and apply it to your teeth using a brush. Brush your teeth right after applying the paste to scrub away the acid.

Fruits and Vegetables

Raw fruits and vegetables such as apples, celery and carrots can act as natural teeth cleaners and will decrease the stains on your teeth since the raw foods will naturally help to whiten your teeth.

Lemon Juice and Baking Soda

Lemon juice is a great way to whiten your skin but using a few drops along with baking soda can help whiten your teeth since the citric acid works with the baking soda to bring out whiter teeth.

Floss Regularly

Flossing everyday can help remove any food remains between our teeth. Flossing also helps reduce plaque buildup which causes teeth discoloration. Brushing after every meal and flossing each night will help to keep your oral hygiene tidy and your teeth pearly white.
